What Makes Our Carpenters So Special?

Simple: They're Not "Our" Carpenters… They're YOUR Carpenters.

Long ago, we decided that if Transitions Remodeling was going to be a success we couldn't simply do "business as usual." We needed to give our clients more. That's when we had an epiphany. Instead of having a foreman (who may or may not be a carpenter) bouncing from job-site to job-site, we would instead, assign a lead carpenter to a project and have him manage that project from start to finish.

And you know what? It worked! Our customers love the fact that they have a single point of contact whose sole responsibility is to make sure their home-remodeling project gets done right. That's why we say that they're not "our" carpenters. They're your carpenters. At the end of the day, the person they really work for is you. Each of our Lead Carpenters has between 20-30 years of experience specializing in home remodels and they are ready to go to work for you.

Since then he has worked as a sales consultant for a counter top department and cabinet refacing services, during which he organized and lead training programs for their field crews.

His time as an independent contractor has given him the valuable experience of seeing many projects through from start to finish. His favorite parts of the process are the creative aspect of all the possibilities for a single space and being able to hand the keys back to a smiling customer.

Being a native Detroiter, he’s naturally a Red Wing fan and was a proud hockey dad to his now college-age son.
